De voor de voorgeschoten stalen plaat in spoel is een product verkregen door een warmgegalvaniseerd stalen plaat en galvalume stalen plaat te onderwerpen, of een aluminiumplaat aan een chemische behandeling van een oppervlakte (coating), gevolgd door bakken en uitharden.

De totale dikte van de vooraf gepakkelijke gegalvaniseerde stalen spoel bestaat uit het basisstaal -Coating -Primer -bovenverf -Beschermende laagdikte. De bovenste verfdikte is 10-25 urn en de dikte van de achterverf is 5-20 μm. Hoe dunner de basis
